I have a silver ring (mans) i think, with black stone and with the following marks

P.S. anchor lion walking U

any ideas of age etc.?

That's far too vague for identification. The anchor could be, but doesn't have to be, Birmingham. If it was Birmingham the date letter repeats every 25 years. So we must have a picture to look at.
