I was going through my grandmothers old predecimal coins, and noticed many of the silver coins could do with a clean. Does anyone have any tips for cleaning silver coins? I do not want to ruin them as they are important to me...but at the same time they could really do with some love..
Thanks

Have you ever tried a pure baking soda? It always works for me when cleaning my silver and gold coins before putting them on the display shelf. _________________ Robert Grant

Before attempting to clean any rare coin, contact the American Numismatic Association:
http://www.money.org. They will determine how to care for your specific coin. _________________ As a silver restoration & conservation specialist, I'm happy to answer any silver-related questions not found on my Web site at http://www.hermansilver.com |
