posted about this in January but due to novice mistake couldn't upload image. Here is the mark (there is also a very small "h" elsewhere on the piece)

I am more interested in seing the edge - is it a sandwich construction? silver-cobber-silver

Yes, it is a silver/copper/silver sandwich. The marks showen are on the underside of the edge, the upper side is a deep "gadroon" or rope-pattern. Glad to hear anything you can tell me about it, especially the maker's mark, collectability - or value!
