Help to identify wine bottle holders please

Hi, I am looking for some help with a pair of silver wine bottle holders. My parents have had them for years through the family but not really known much about their history.

They are both hallmarked the same (see picture below)

Any help appreciated with age / history etc.

As nobody has replied, I guess that we don’t know. The only certain thing I can say is that these are not British hallmarks.
