Can anyone tell me if Levi & Salaman worked with gold or made gold jewellry?

Actually, Levi and Salaman began life as a producer of gilt jewellery and only later branched into more general silverware.

I can't determine whether they also produced gold jewellery but if you have a piece of jewellery which appears to have the Levi and Salaman mark and is of the right age, then I think you can reasonably assume that they did.

The marks on gold and silver are relatively simillar, so be sure to check that the piece is gold and not silver gilt.
