I have seen a couple of antique silver desk bells for sale on the web. Both are engraved with dates 25 years apart, for example 1883-1908. Would these have been a Silver Anniversary gift during the late Victorian period? If so, how common would they have been and would they be something more than one company might have made? Thanks for any information.
