I bought a silver plate teapot and there are no hallmarks that I can find anywhere on it. There are engraved numbers on the bottom though. The numbers are 157-8-7A .

Hi there and thanks for joining us. The numbers really don't give us a clue about who made your teapot - they are most probably the model or pattern number from an unknown maker. A lot of American silverplated wares carry no makers mark at all, so yours in not unusual.
