Post subject: Pair of Elkington Claret Jugs

hi, i have these two jugs and can't work out if the silver is real on them, and if it is crystal or just glass. They have a man's face engraved in both spouts. The only mark i can see is the one saying Elkington and there is no other hallmarks on them at all.
Does anyone have any idea of a rough value?

These are almost certainly electroplated as there are no hallmarks. I had a remarkably similar one (although without the Elkington name) a few years ago which I bought for 15 and resold for about 20. A pair may well be worth a bit more than 2 single ones.
