Hello,
Jeffrey Burchard here.

May I ask for your assistance? Might anyone know where the Russian and Continental Silver collectors hang out? We are Antiques and Fine Art Auctioneers in St Petersburg Fl. We have acquired an estate with a nice Continental Silver Collection and a few Russian pieces, one large basket by PAVEL SAZIKOV. All to be sold on January 24th, 2010. The problem is that in searching for Russian Silver buyers I can only find very few. Is thre an association of collectors or club out there somewhere?

Description:Circa 1880 Pavel Sazikov, St. Petersburg. Impressive 2 handle footed tray with basket weave and finely detailed blanket design. Monogrammed and dated August 27, 1880. Measures 3 5/8" h. x 14 1/2" x 10". Approx 34.4 troy oz.
