Post subject: Help with Identification of Birmingham mark?

can anyone help me identify this... I think its from Birmingham, early 1800's. However I'm not sure.. And I don't know what the other markings mean either.
There is a star mark on the bottom as well, away from the other marks...

Any ideas?

This is a silver plate mark of Elkington, Mason & Co. It dates from the mid-19th century. There would normally be a date code (specific to Elkington), but it may have disappeared.
