Hi Everyone...

I bought what turned out to be a antique silver sugar caster at the 2nd hand store because it was 1.00, it looked interesting, and I LOVE silver and silverplate.

First I was told it was an URN (needless to say I didn't look too closely inside for Uncle Ned's remains) then I was relieved to find it looked more like an Edwardian period silver sugar caster. But I don't know if it's actually silver, silverplated, or cast iron as the base is missing and there are no maker's marks that I can see.

Does anyone have any ideas on who, what, when and worth? Hope the pics come out, i 'm new to this whole collecting Smile

Thanks in advance![/img]
