anyone have a guess on value? i know its not the best pic, it says washington mint on box and its in a case that looks like its never been opened. on the back it has dates and stats and says half pound silver. cant seem to find it online to compare it to others.

There is a big gap between the people who love and collect antique silver - and those who buy silver bullion primarily as an investment. This coin would be “collected” only for it’s silver value. The Washington mint is known for putting out large version replicas of the American Silver Eagle and other generic silver.
There are 12 troy ounces in a troy pound, versus 16 ounces in a standard (avoirdupois) pound, so it’s not clear what a “half-pound” means. Your best bet is to weigh your coin on a gram scale - a troy ounce weighs 31.1 grams, while a standard ounce weighs 28.35 grams.
Assuming this weighs 6 troy ounces, your coin would be worth approximately $100 at current silver prices.
