One of my neighbors brought me a beautiful English Walker & Hall sterling centerpiece that her housekeeper had "polished" with a metal scouring pad. It was, as you can imagine, a total mess, with deep scratches all over. I contacted Jeff Herman, the moderator of this section, and to make a long story short, Jeff expertly repaired it by polishing out the scratches. It is now back home looking like new, and my neighbor is beside herself at the wonderful service and most reasonable price Jeff provided.
