I recently purchased a Coffee Pot with the following silver marks which I can not identify. Can you help?
http://www.thusske.com/ebayphotos/mmFeb27th/SilverCoffeePot1.jpg

It appears the first mark in the shield is, NH & Co.
The initials along the right side are JMD
I would appreciate all the help I can get.
Thanks

This coffee pot is silver plate by Martin, Hall & Co of Sheffield (it's MH&Co, not NH&Co). The 4 Old English letters in individual boxes are E P G S for ElectroPlated German Silver. German silver was an old name for nickel silver.
