i have some things id like to be re-plated, do people do this?
if so is it expensive and are there people in the northwest who do it?

Hi there and thanks for joining us. Contact Jeff Herman, a silversmith in RI and he can do it or direct you to someone who can. www.hermansilver.com. Jeff is 100% reliable.

Replating is common and if done properly, results in a "like new" finish.

Thanks for your support Vic. I would have to say that not all plating must result in a shiny surface. The piece can be replated, patinated and hand finished with a softer antique look,
