This is a large silver or silver plated spoon...........it measures 13" the bowl is approx 4"
There are no patterns/design on front. The back has and overlay or raised extension of the handle that carries over onto the back of the bowl (not sure this would classify as a design). On the back of the handle are 4 marks one under the other. Top mark is a G this is followed by what appears to be a clover or flower? Under this is a 4 and the last mark is a 8.
If you can give me any insight into who the maker or the age, it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there Tammy - it sure would help to see a close up, clear pic of the marks. Whenever we see the numbers "8" and "4" we think Russian.....but we need to see the marks.

Good job, Tammy. I don't recognize the marks tho. Perhaps some of our resident experts can help?
