can anyone tell me if this is silver or pewter?? I bought a clock and first thought it was pewter but can’t find any pewter marks to match, it looks like a silver smits mark…possibly french??
I am sure that you are right it is frensh - minerva mark is most likely at your item too. Look carefull it is proberly hidden in some ornament. But I would say most likely silver - but again you do not show much of it.
