Silver spoon, 3 marks but no town or makers mark?

I have an old teaspoon with 3 marks, a lion, a capital letter E, and a figure head. It really is not in great condition but would love to know a bit about it. It has a fancy letter or 2 on the front handle, maybe a letter ‘L’.

Any thoughts anyone?

The hallmarks are almost certainly London, 1800. It was not uncommon at this period to omit the town mark, which in this case would have been the crowned leopard’s head. Unfortunately the maker’s mark is too damaged to confirm that it is in fact a London maker.

Thanks for that silvermakersmarks, how interesting, its a pity about the makers mark, it looks so small maybe it would have been one letter or a symbol, thanks again.
