I live on an old family farm and found this knife under an old barn where I believe a house used to sit in the 1800's Does anyone know what this pattern is or if it is even silver and if so... how old it may be??? Any info at all would greatly help me determine some of the history to my heritage. In my photo... I have included a picture of both sides of the knife as well as a detail of the pattern Smile I am fairly certain that it's older than the early 1900's. Pottery found in the same area would suggest civil war era.
