I have a pair of Georg Jensen blossom tongs that are in need of repair. The tongs should have a spring to keep them open , however the spring is not working. Does anyone have a contact that might do this type of repair? I have contacted Jensen, USA and they have been no help.

The tongs carry an early GI mark taht dates them to 1909-1914. The design is commonly referred to as "Blossom". The referance books state that Jensen introduced the Blossom flatware design in 1919. Since my tongs are from the 1909-1914 period, could they be a reproduction? They are very detailed and the stamps look authentic.

Any assistance would be great.

Thanks,

Allen
