Hi All

Was wondering if anyone could put a rough price on this.

Its a 1916 3/0 Elgin hunter style working pocket watch. The Case is sterling.

Any ideas would be great

I suggest you check out completed auctions on eBay. I just did a quick search and got 94 hits using the search string "elgin pocket watch -gold". You might find some which match yours closely enough to get an idea of what people are willing to pay.

Thanks...good suggestion. I feel silly now not thinking of that myself.

I paid AU$50 for it. On Ebay I saw similar models and age in 'coin' silver, not sterling, for around AU$200 or more. I suppose I should be happy with that Smile
