Hi,
I've found a pair of what look like silver sugar tongs, and am unsure if they are silver or plated.
I've attached a pic of the marks, and if anyone could help, that would be great.

Hi there and thanks for joining us. They are plated - the "EP" mark means Electro Plated.

...and the maker is James Deakin & Sons with their table lamp trade mark.

Yes, their 'lamp' stamp was a synical attempt to look like the Glasgow hallmark -tree, fish,bird and bell mark...
