Hi,

I have a small silver-plated breakfast tray 26x24 cm (sun mark, Mappin brothers, London & Sheffield, Queen’s Plate, small letter “u” or “a”). I have done research, it looks like this item is made in 1850 – 1902/1903. I could not find any information about the meaning of Queen’s Plate and the small letter “u” (year?). I would like to know when it was made exactly.
