Hi all,

This is my first post, and I'd like to ask if anyone can determine what exactly my jewellery is made of. Well, it is a cross on a chain, and on the side is engraved an inconspicuous 'silver'. There no actual hallmarks, however, so could anyone tell me if this is actually Silver?

Yes, it is probably silver. There is a limit below which silver does not need to be hallmarked. Small jewellery items are often simply marked with the word silver.
