Hey, got this straining spoon and wanted to learn as much as possible about it, hope you can help. Please ignore my ignorance if the picture is upside down
I don’t recognise this one, but it’s most likely to be silver plate rather than solid silver. The final letter / symbol is, I think, a D. Electroplaters often adopted the convention of putting the initial letter of their town in their trade marks; so S for Sheffield, G for Glasgow, etc. It is possible that this D may be for Dublin, but I’m just speculating.
