I bought a small silver cream jug from one of my clients about 4 or 5 years ago. She did not like the piece and sold it to me for the price of silver, plus a bit more. I paid $85 in US dollars for it. It is a Hester Bateman piece and I have seen one other like it that sold for $1250 from a London gallery. I have been offered 600 for it which I believe is just over $930.
