Childs Mug, STERLING hallmark, but is it silver?

Hi, I have this mug that has the STERLING mark but it doesnt look like silver, does anyone can tell what it is??

Hi there and thanks for joining us. It is indeed sterling silver (92.5%) and made by The Hallmark Silversmiths, Inc. of New York, NY. The company was formed in the early 1900s and merged in 1954 with the Hall Silver Co. to become The Hall-Hallmark Co. Your cup would pre-date the merger.
