UMKA - thanks for joining us here on silver-collector.com. Your item is American and bears the mark of the Sheffield Silver Co. of Brooklyn N.Y. The company was formed in 1908 and made silver plated ware. The mark you show was used from 1908 until 1950. The company was acquired by Reed & Barton silver in 1974 and moved to Norton, Mass. The letters "E.P.N.S." stand for "electro plated on nickel silver".
