I have a square tray with a decorated border and small feet, given to my father in 1939 and engraved with the names of his colleagues. The hallmark which is not very clear in the photo has a pennant with J under it and under that the number 53707 A1. I would be interested to know what it could be worth.
It looks like the electroplate pennant mark of Walker & Hall. No real commercial value but it’s always best to have a look at the ebay completed auctions to see a true value
