E. CAROLINA SILVER CO. VALUE

I have recently acquired a wonderful 5 1/2" tall creamer/pitcher from “E. CAROLINA SILVER CO.” The stamp on the bottom says:

E. CAROLINA SILVER CO.
QUADRUPLE PLATE
(THEIR SIGNATURE PALMETTO TREE)
HARTSVILLE S.C.
1702

There is a ring of gold beads around the base. The pitcher is in VERY NICE condition. It has beautiful patina! The inside is perfectly clean.
There are some small dents around the bottom and the lid doesn’t close perfectly.

I understand they were only in business between 1905 - 1907 and any pieces from them might be quite rare.
My questions are: Are pieces desirable to collectors? If so what is the value? Or how would I go about determining value? Where might be the best place to inquire about selling?

Any information or history would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Shawn

Hi and thanks for joining us. Ebay is probably the best place to get an idea of real-wold value. Keep searching and find some similar items and then follow them through to the end of the auction; then look at the “completed auctions” section to see what sold and for how much. Likewise I’d suggest eBay as the best place to sell.
