Hi,hopefully someone can help identify this object and give us some information as to age,composition and if possible value.we have managed to work out it was made by Walker & Hall,possibly around 1910.further information would be greatly appreciated.thank you. Geoff

Hi Geoff,
It is an entree dish, used for serving vegetables etc. The handle can be removed so that you can use both sides of the dish to serve. It is silver plated, as you suggest made by Walker & Hall. The date is harder to determine, but I agree that it looks like an Edwardian plated reproduction of an earlier style, so probably made around 1910. I would think that a good replacement value would be around £100.
