Hi,could someone please decipher these markings

Description:these markings were revealed when the handle on the lid was removed

Hi there,
I cannot see the top mark, but it looks to be just a plate mark. The bottom mark is the makers mark for Walker & Hall (the W & H in a flag), again this is silver plate not sterling.
