I want to find a resource for studying the lives of British Silversmiths but there seems to be very little information about them.
For example I found something about William Eaton almost ending up in prison because of an alleged fraud which ultimately he was found not guilty of, but Paul Storr, James Ramsay, Robert Hennell, William Holmes, William Stroud I can’t find very much at all.
Would love to hear from anyone who know where I can find out more about them.
