GORHAM DEMITASSE POT

Hi, My first post. I recently acquired a nice Gorham coffee pot which appears to be a demitasse. I am not having much success with the photos so will describe the marks from the base first and try the photos one more time. It has the 20th Century Gorham symbols above the words STERLING and then immediately below that A5006 and then below that 5/8 PINT…off to the right 40 G. There is no other date symbol on the base. I have seen reference to a Tea and Coffee set A5005(circa early 1900s) which stated that the demitasse coffee pot is A5006…Can someone date this for me (perhaps 1930 period that Gorham stopped doing the year symbols) and what does the 40 G mean?..thanks Max
