S&L Silver Spoons

Hi all,

We have inherited 2 x silver spoons but we are struggling to identify them/country of origin etc from the hall marks.

1st mark - “S&L” in a shield/crown
2nd mark - “EP” in a diamond
3rd mark - no idea - a double harp ?
4th mark - a thick “&”
5th mark - a fancy “m” ?
6th mark - most definitely a “2”

Your spoons are unfortunately not silver. The EP shows that they are electroplated. They were made by Mappin & Webb ( [M] [&] [W] ). “S&L” appears in some of their marks and stands, I believe, for “Sheffield & London”.
