I have a tea pot it has marks international silver co. silver soldered 69 32 oz. 01260 55 with square around 55 on front U.S.N. with anchor symbol above it the handle is not on the side it is on the back side has part wood handle also under top lid has 69 with ....dotted circle also on bottom. I do not have picture it has a rope like design. if you can help me put a value on that would be great thank you JANET [/list]

Your teapot is electroplated and so has no intrinsic value for silver content. In general electroplated items do not have much value. However with the naval connection it may appeal to collectors of nautical items. Overall condition would also have to be taken into account. Consequently it is very difficult to give any sort of estimate of value.
