I have posted my query on the wrong forum i.e. How to photograph silver. I need to change it to a forum that someone can identify my silver badge. How do I do that please?

Don't worry about the exact forum. We will see your query wherever it is posted. I assume you are talking about the topic "Silver Brooch or Badge Westminster??" which you posted in September 2011. The fact that there are no responses simply means that nobody was able to give a worthwhile answer. You might have got a response had you posted a picture of the back of the badge showing the hallmark clearly. You can still edit your original query to add or amend a picture; it will show up as a new post in the forum list.
