[size=150][color=darkblue]Any ideas on what this may be? Upon 1st glance I thought it was a pocket watch case but it cant be as it has more of an oval shape and just doesn’t fit the bill. When you open it, the outer rim appears to read Made in Italy. On the very inner “body” both the top and bottom have the numbers 1666 or maybe 7666 with the bottom also stamped with 801 inside a circle. Perhaps it is a locket of some sort with the inner pieces/photo holders missing. Any thoughts or ideas as to what the item is, what the numbers may represent, who the maker could perhaps be, just any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
