Help please - what do these marks mean?

Can anyone tell me what these marks say about the silver and where and when made?
The piece is about 20 Inch tall silver corinthian column with oil bowl on top and wick fitting.
There are also the initials HH engraved underneath the hallmark.
Thanks
Nick

What it tells us is that your piece is not, unfortunately, silver. The mark is an electroplate mark of William Padley & Son of Sheffield. The company was active during the last quarter of the 19th century and into the first decade or so of the 20th century.

Thanks so much for the information.

Luckily I was pretty certain it was plate so no surprises there.

Nick
