I was recently helping my father-in-law clean out an old storage unit of his and came across a pair of heavily tarnished wine glasses. He had told me I could take anything that I was interested in and I kept them not knowing the exactly what they were but was hopeful they were silver. They are tarnished and the stamp wasn’t visible without some cleaning first. He did say he thought they were solid silver, but as it turns out now that I can see the stamp it says Italy silver plate, however I don’t know much else about the stamp as I can’t find anything online that is similar. Any light shed on them would be greatly appreciated thanks.
