I HAVE A SMALL SILVER KNIFE AND FORK WITH MOTHER OF PEARL HANDLES. EACH 31/4 INCHES LONG. THE BLADES ARE STAMPED WITH A LION AND A HEAD FACING RIGHT WITH THE WORD T GRAY.
I CANNOT IDENTIFY THIS MAKER. THE SET WAS SOLD IN 1858 BY LAMBERT AND RAWLINGS 0F 11 AND 12C COVENTRY STREET LONDON. GOLDSMITHS AND JEWELLERS TO THEIR MAJESTIES.
Some things in your description do not add up. Assuming a date of 1858 a Victorian duty mark has the head facing left. In addition you have not mentioned a town mark nor a date letter. I really think that a picture is essential for us to make any progress.
