I have an antique silver or silverplate cocktail shaker labeled Melford EPWM M500. I am trying to find something about the history of Melford Company, and have been coming up blank. Can anyone tell me the history of this company?[/b]

My suggestion would be, EPWM = ElectroPlated on White Metal, with Melford being a name that R.Wallace & Son Mfg Co, Wallingford CT used on some or their pieces.

John
