Markings, Dates on Sheffield Silver 1950-1951

My silver has these same marks, but an I in place of the C. Would this be 1950 or 1951?
I am fairly sure this is James Dixon and Sons, the crown is for Sheffield, the Lion is .925 silver (Sterling not plated) and the last letter is the date.
Please advise.

You may have a lower case “l” which would be 1928 or an upper case “I” which would be 1951. They are obviously different when seen together, but may be confused in isolation:
