I have a question about my grandmother’s silverplate. Basically, I was wondering when we see the first instance of pierced silverware and rectangle stems. She gave me her Onieda Morning Star silverplate and it seems pretty unique, compared to other pieces on silverware sites, so I was wondering when we first start seeing these features. Did Morning Star start a trend or follow it?
