A new book on Scottish silver is now available for the interested collector. Compendium of Scottish Silver II by Rodney and Janice Dietert (Dietert Publications, 629 pages, 16 Nov. 2007) is an expanded single volume print version of their original Cornell University digital library work. This updated version contains an additional 1,000 listings (more than 6,000 total), new photographs, section updates and a completely new section on avoiding common pitfalls in reading of Scottish hallmarks.

The soft cover book is widely available from UK and US online booksellers at:
www.lulu.com/content/1174436
www.amazon.com
www.barnesandnoble.com
www.amazon.co.uk
www.tesco.com
www.blackwell.com

An eBook version is also available at www.lulu.com.

Moderators - please move under BOOKS if more appropriate.
