I wonder if anyone has an idea of the maker of this fork. It was given to someone in my wife's family in 1909, if the date engraved on the back of the handle is accurate.

I have a pic of the mark on the stem, but it is taxing the ability of my Kodak DX6490's Macro ability.

Made by the Alvin Silver Co of NJ/NY, formed in 1886. It still functions today as a division of the Gorham company.
