There are four very good books on chinese silver that I can recommend, these are:
Chinese Export Silver - by Alan James Marlowe
Chniese Export Silver - by Crosby-Forbes
The Chait Collection - by John Kernan
Chinese Export Silver, The Chan Collection - by David Chan

The best online resource I have found is located at:

www.chineseexportsilver.com

It is under construction but the makers mark chart and the maker pages are very informative. The pictures on some of the pages like Luen Wo and Wang Hing are GREAT!
