Who makes these and what are they used for??
There is a W in a circle and is marked Sterling 1511

May - that's the mark of the Woodside Sterling Co. of New York, circa 1896-1920. Makers of sterling holloware and novelties. I'm not sure of their intended use, perhaps relish cups?
