This is my second post in this forum, please have patience with a newbie!Very Happy

I bought a tea pot at the Swedish ebay and the seller says it's Sheffield plate.

The hallmarks are located at the bottom and there are five of them.
The first looks like a lion rampant.
The second looks like a small r.
The third looks like a thistle with a crown on top.
The fourth is a letter s.
The final is a bird, maybe a phoenix?

I may add that the lid of the tea pot lacks hallmarks.

So I wonder if this really is Sheffield plate or if it's made later than the Sheffield plate period. I even wonder if it's British at all.

Kind regards from Gothenburg
