Hello,

please help me to identify when was this item made.I know the followings:

Founded 1848, trumpet mark from 1879
Sheffield
England, UK
James Dixon & Sons

E. P. B. M.
Electro Plated Britannia Metal
Generic mark used by some firms

But I don't know what does A.R. and the marks in the last raws.

I'm afraid that the remaining marks are not of any particular meaning. They might be inventory marks or pattern marks. The 1 1/2 might refer to the volume of the item. But I don't believe you will ever discover anything more definite.
